About Me

Desiree has always had a vision and a passion for all things creative. She graduated from the University of Miami with an bachelor’s degree in graphic design, where she specialized in logo design and packaging.
Following that she decided to follow her famous mother’s food footsteps into the kitchen, where she learned to create artisanal handmade chocolates and decadent desserts. For the past 25 years, Desiree has owned and operated www.Desireechocolates.com. Desiree uses her creativity to help clients in Chicagoland customize sweet tables and dessert stations in the themes and colors of their special events. She loves the artistic side of dessert design and takes great pride in presenting these lavish sweet tables. She says that her mother always taught her “You eat with your eyes first”.

When Covid hit in 2020 Desiree decided to pursue her long-time interior decorating passion. She signed up for a course online from the Interior Design Institute.
All the while that Desiree has been creating sweet tables over the years she has also dabbled in the field by assisting friends in redesigning their homes by rearranging furniture and; accessorizing, refreshing their look with updated paint and flooring, and renewing the style of the rooms in their homes to create their dream house.
So there it is…
